Storage and Transportation
By LearnESD.com Team

ESDS items need to be stored inside an container before they can be transported from one place to another.
The ESDS item can be stored inside a plastic conductive or dissipative tote box or bin or an tray.
ESD conductive tote boxes and bins can be designed with dividers or slots to cater the user's manufacturing requirement.

When the ESDS items are to be shipped or transported to an uncontrolled work area, they are required to be stored inside a closed static shielding bag or a closed container with shielding property.

An cart is commonly used to transport ESDS items. A grounding chain that usually comes with the cart does not provide a good contact with a flooring material. casters or wheels help to make a good grounding contact with the flooring material.
